Parliament Communications provides advice on topical parliamentary issues

Parliament Communications serves citizens and the media on issues related to parliamentary work. Ask the Parliament Communications how, for example, a specific legislative proposal is progressing at Parliament or how to search Parliament's website for documents or records of speeches delivered at plenary session.

Parliament Communications does not provide legal counsel or interpret the law. Nor do we respond to questions regarding Government policy or comment on it. The contact details of the ministries, in which legislation is prepared, can be found on the Government website. Parliament Communications does not relay messages meant for MPs. 

If your query pertains to non-topical matters or issues not related to the current electoral term, we advise you to please contact the information service of the Library of Parliament.

You can contact Parliament Communications either by e-mail or telephone. The e-mail communications(at)parliament.fi is read every weekday from  9am to 4pm. The aim is to respond to questions within three workdays, but most questions can be replied to on the day they are received.​​​
